Delete Your SurPho Account
If you’d like to delete your SurPho account and associated data, you can submit a request at any time.
How to request account deletion
To delete your account, please email us at contact@surpho.com from the email address associated with your SurPho account and include:
Subject line: “Delete my SurPho account”
Your full name
Whether you are a Client or Photographer (or both)
A short confirmation that you want your account and associated data deleted
This helps us verify that we are deleting the correct account and protects your privacy.
What we delete
When we process your deletion request, we will delete or anonymize:
Your SurPho account and login credentials
Your profile information (name, username, bio, profile photo, and any other profile details you provided)
Your portfolio photos and session listings stored within the SurPho app
Your in-app messages and notifications, where technically possible
Your in-app booking history and related SurPho records that are not required to be kept for legal or accounting purposes
After deletion is complete, you will no longer be able to access your account, booking history, or messages in the app.
What we may retain
In some cases we may need to retain limited information even after your account is deleted, for example:
Basic transaction and payment records (such as date, amount, and payer/payee) required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes
Records needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the platform
Aggregated or anonymized analytics data that does not personally identify you
Any retained data is kept only for as long as necessary for these purposes and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
How long deletion takes
We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your email.
Once your request is complete, we’ll send a confirmation email to let you know that your SurPho account has been deleted.
